Maintenance and fix up.
Recently the management did a building wide inspection to check for problems. Standard stuff like drips and leaks and smoke alarms. Then followed up with several kitchen sink faucets and a bunch of wall angle stops changed out.  Removing the frozen or dripping shut offs are a help for future maintenance and keeps the tenants safe from flooding or drippy problems. Also some smoke detectors were upgraded and replaced so that all have good smoke detectors and are safe.  This equipment is expensive.  Please do not disconnect those smoke alarms.  If they beep they just need a 9 volt battery.  Easy stuff.  Talk to management if you do not have one or know how to re-install etc. Once the tenant is in, they need to keep up with maintenance and cleaning and light bulbs and battery changes etc. It takes teamwork to keep our building safe and tidy.   Residents have to do their part.
